Student Affairs is concernedwith the welfare of Arkansas Tech students as individuals. The peoplein this committee work to find issues that students agree need to beaugmented in some form. We then meet and discuss what needs to happen,who to contact to make the changes happen, and do the actual research.Our information is retrieved through surveys, person requests, andobservations in general.

Campus Improvement

Committee which proposes and pursues projects which benefit the Arkansas Tech campus.

New Student Organization

The New Student Organization Committee is concerned with prospectivestudent organizations looking to receive university recognition. Thiscommittee examines prospective organizations’ constitutions and by-lawsand recommends corrections or revisions to them. The committee thenrecomends the candidate organization for approval by the full Senate.This is required before any organization can receive universityrecognition.

Constitutional Committee

The Constitutional Committee reviews the Student GovernmentAssociation’s constitution every month. The people in this committeework to find ways to improve or interpret the constitution. During thecommittee’s monthly meetings the Senators bring ideas that will helpthe Student Government Association operate in way that will help usrepresent the student body to the best of our abilities.

Develops public relation and advertising campaigns to inform the student body on what SGA is doing

Reviews and conducts hearings on all student appeals concerning traffic tickets
